Funerals

Losing a friend, colleague or family member is really hard. And whilst it is a truly upsetting time you know you want to be able to celebrate that person’s life and hold a ceremony and service that you can be proud of. A funeral can be quite a cathartic experience, a sense of occasion, a rite of passage, that allows you to move forward in your journey to heal.

It can also be really daunting and seem like an endless to do list at a time when you can’t quite think straight. And this is where I will help you. I will help be your ‘grief companion’, allow you to craft the ceremony you and your family member or friend would have wanted -using my words, storytelling and drawing many personal tributes, touches and anecdotes from you.

In today’s society fewer people see themselves affiliated with a particular religion, yet still hold onto some form of spiritual belief. Therefore, we can draw upon hymns, poems, readings, affectionate humour, spirituality and music. Each ceremony is individually written by me and aims to be as personal and moving as possible.

I work hand in hand with the location attendants and appointed Funeral Director to make sure we all deliver the best experience for you.

I’ll spend time with you to collect stories, memories and your ideas and share the bespoke eulogy in advance to make sure you are super happy with it. And, on the day I’ll be there early, to make sure all music is ok and be, alongside the Funeral Directors, the support you’ll need on the day to carry out your wishes and ceremony respectfully.

For more information, please contact me or let your chosen Funeral Director know you wish to use me and we shall take it from there.
